About Us
Just Think! began in 2005. Since that time it has grown from one woman and one office to eight amazing teachers/therapists and over 100 students. Mrs. Gornto earned a degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Florida. She began her work with children in Gainesville with a Nuerodevelopmental Pediatrician named Dr. Ann Alexander. Barbara credits Dr. Alexander for her success and her knowledge in the area of dyslexia and the remediation of reading and language deficits. For over 25 years Barbara has utilized her knowledge and skills to give students the tools and confidence for reading success. Through the use of research-based methods of instruction and socratic teaching methods, students gain the necessary skills to reach their academic potential. Mrs. Gornto and staff strive every day to greet students with a smile, and to treat them with respect and kindness. Our goal is to create lifelong learners, to make learning enjoyable, and to promote quality work and the desire to do their best.
